Hi! Thanks for getting to know me!
Making powerful imagery is my passion.
I strive to bridge the gap between creative and client through exceptional cross-communication of our visual and conceptual ideas and objectives...
I am a classically-trained photojournalist with a creative eye. I obtained my BFA in Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art and Design, where I was the recipient of the $25,000 Sally Wolfe Memorial Scholarship in Photography. During my time at the Corcoran, I completed an internship for Emmy award-winning documentarian and photographer Joshua Cogan.
I have been featured in exhibitions at The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, the Fondo del Sol Visual Arts Center and the Corcoran Gallery of Art. My work has also been published in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Huffington Post, The L.A. Times and The City Paper (DC). I've had the privilege of photographing notable figures such as Patti LaBelle, Wale, Jeb Bush, Marion Barry, Matt Lauer, Reince Preibus, Donald Trump, Former House Speaker John Boehner, Rep. Paul Ryan, Senators Bernie Sanders, Marco Rubio and Diane Feinstein.
In the spring of 2015, I served as the official RNC traveling photographer for 2016 Presidential candidate Senator Lindsey Graham (SC) during his opening tour and beyond. I also served as the official RNC photographer on NJ Governer Chris Christie's campaign announcement and subsequent tour events.
In October of 2016, I travelled to Isla Mujeres, Mexico, on freelance assignment to document the culture and nightlife of the island.
In 2017, I look forward to launching Dozier Photographics (www.dozierphoto.com), an event and wedding imaging company focused on quality event story-telling.
A list of my clients can be found on the Clients page and include the American Bar Association, Federal Drug Administration and Financial Times. Tearsheets available upon request!
